🎉 WELCOME BACK TO M/S EUROPALINK! 🎉 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Finnlines M/S Europalink back to Malmö, where the ship was reflagged to the flag of Sweden and it is now part of the Swedish merchant fleet. ⚓ M/S Europalink returned to the route between Malmö and Travemünde in Germany, joining M/S Finntrader, M/S Finnpartner and M/S Finnfellow on the same route. 🛳🛳🛳🛳 A warm welcome back from all of us at CMP – we are happy to have M/S Europalink back on this important route as a Swedish-flagged ship! Ro-pax vessel M/S Europalink was built in 2007, is 218 meters long and 30.5 meters wide, has a gross tonnages of 46.124 MT, 554 cabin beds and 4.2 lane-kilometers. It has been deployed on the Malmö-Travemünde route in 2007-2009, 2018-2021 and now from 2023 onwards.

This Wednesday, Sweden's Core Ports met with Andreas Carlson, Minister for Infrastructure and Housing 🔨🏗️🏘️. We highlighted and discussed the importance of the Core Ports for Sweden's competitiveness, national security and resilience, as well as reaching the crucial climate and energy goals. The Core Ports, Luleå Hamn, Trelleborgs Hamn AB, Copenhagen Malmö Port, Göteborgs Hamn, and Stockholms Hamnar account for more than half of all Swedish imports and exports, how we manage to cooperate is absolutely crucial for the expansion and development of the transport and energy system ⚡. Thank you for a great meeting, we look forward to further dialogue 🤝

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈 This weekend, the celebration of Copenhagen Pride began in Copenhagen, and Pride was earlier celebrated this summer in Malmö. ❤️🧡 Pride is a time to embrace diversity, foster community, and celebrate love, regardless of sexual orientation 🌈. Copenhagen Pride is a human rights NGO that works for sexual and gender diversity. Their vision is to create a world where everyone can love and live freely and in safety. 💛💚 We strongly believe in the signifigance of celebrating Pride and the values that form the basis of the Pride movement. As a testament to this belief, we have proudly raised the Pride flag at both of our offices across the sound. 💙💜

🚢🏰 A fairy-tale first call! 🏰🚢 We're thrilled to celebrate the maiden call of the cruise ship Disney Dream of Disney Cruise Line in Copenhagen this season! Amidst great excitement, and high winds, we've engaged in the tradition of plaque exchange, symbolizing strong bonds between ship and port. 🛡️⚓🛳️ This occasion holds special significance as Walt Disney himself visited Copenhagen, drawing inspiration for Disneyland in California. As the Disney Dream docks, we're reminded of the enchanting connection between our port and the magic of Disney. The ceremony was attended by the amazing crew of the ship, Blue Water Shipping Cruise Copenhagen – and Captain Minnie as a very special guest! We extend gratitude to the guests, crew and all involved in making this moment a reality. Once again, a warm welcome to Disney Dream, representing the magnificent world of Disney in Copenhagen!

We are so impressed by our colleague Morten & his Team Rynkeby Riget and Sara & Team Rynkeby Malmö who have cycled all the way from Denmark/Sweden to Paris to support seriously ill children. It has been fantastically exciting to follow your journey💛🚴👏🙌🇩🇰 🇸🇪 🎉 Team Rynkeby is a European charity organization that consists of teams of cyclists who cycle to Paris every year to raise money for children with critical illnesses and their families. Team Rynkeby comprises 2,026 cyclists and 538 service participants distributed among 62 teams in 9 countries.

We are happy to support two cyclists of Team Rynkeby this year! 🙌 Sara, from Team Rynkeby Malmö , started her journey yesterday by taking a Finnlines - Sverige ferry from Malmö to Travemünde. Morten, who has been working as a docker at CMP since 1990, starts his journey today, together with Team Rynkeby Riget, from Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen 🚴‍♀️. Team Rynkeby is a European charity organization that consists of teams of cyclists who cycle to Paris every year to raise money for children with critical illnesses and their families. Team Rynkeby comprises 2,026 cyclists and 538 service participants distributed among 62 teams in 9 countries. In 2022, SEK 111.9 million was donated to organizations that help children with critical illnesses. We wish you a safe journey to Paris! 🗼
